Hey JMD.I have been slacking off a bite on the bikes but im slowly getting back into it again.Iv got a project that I have been working on for 3 years now and I finally just got the parts to finish if off.Ill be putting it up on Retro-Rollers as soon as its done. And hopefully it would motivate me and other people to put up threads on this site.Cheers.
Lol I was thinking the same think to turn it in to a lowrider but i really like the look of the forks and bars so Ill bestill thinking a nice resto maybe powder coating some chrome bits to give it a unique look maybe?just a thought.how much do you think the red bike would be worth ajax?so the guy knows what he has got?
I got told that his grandfather passed it down to him so its a good chance that it mite be a 76 or earlier. And be goggling it it say it is a KHE Highriser competing with the raleigh chopper in its day and was made in Germany. The cranks and peddels look to new school for me but ill have to have a closer look my self.As for your bike ajax what can i say.I really like the look of this bike do it up as a daily ride or u can pass it off to meand ill do some thing with it.
Ye your rite Pushie Pirate I will let his father put it on when he is ready. As for a bigger scale I wanted it to look similar to my 26" Rat Rod that i did a while ago. Here's a pick. When i get some time ill take some shots of the bikes together so you can see the difference.Cheers.
Nice score Flea. Its a 16" version of the Chopper (redhawk) is the same as the Raleigh Tomahawk.I have the same 1 but mines got the T shift on the frame.Heres a pic.if you like your Raleigh's like i do you would keep it and resto it.If not there not much parts you can use for a Chopper its all a smaller size.hope this help you flea anymore help just PM me and ill be glad to help you out.P.s if you want to part with it im after a couple of this to finish mine off.Cheers.
I think your rite harry76.by the look of it it is factory made the hole for the cranks is to clean to be made in the back yard garage plus the bends and folds are perfect. It also has a back drum brake to top it off.but im pulling it apart as i need some parts for a build im doing for my god son.its a 16" version of my black and red 24".Ill be posting up some pics and post soon.Cheers.
