Zitat von Dragsters for Life
i dropped your tinware off yesterday mate
Thanks mate, I owe you one & really appreciate you doing that.
Had a good clean up today in the shed, getting ready for the engine coming back and cleaning up the oil bath air cleaner to re paint. Was too fiddly to strip to powder because of the plastic and hair in the element so will hit with hi temp VHT and should match in OK with the powder. Degreased a bit of the engine bay/boot and found a wires that needs some love so will make up a few when I get some correct gauge tomorrow.

Dash is a ABS style plastic skin, looks like a flop mould vacuum form type one and is about 4mm thick. I have been fitting it up today but it does take alot of trimming and drilling but that's cool. It feels a little short on the passenger side and lining all the gauges and grab handle up was proving impossible until I busted out the heat gun! Got it close but found more trimming required around a vent so will attack again tomorrow. Need some new globes too for the gauges so will do some shopping tomorrow as I don't want to remove these again anytime soon. All up it's not perfect but will be 100% better than no dash at all.

That's a speaker grill and the weak point in the dash so the guy who made it deleted them unless you want speaker holes then its drill time. The older dashes just had holes & no grill like yours.
